Balkans Custom Masonry

Please note that the two reviews up in September are probably the same person. Hard to tell when the person attacking only uses initials. I spoke to Balkans Custom Masonry after bad reviews appeared all over the net this and last week. I see one here that is similar to the rest. It appears that the owner refused to to extra uncontracted work for someone who became angry about that and has been posting negative reviews all over the Net. (I don't claim to know the full story.) This person even took out an ad on Craigslist using the name of this company without authorization and instead of posting an ad posted a negative review. I have had such a good experience with Balkans Custom Masonry that I thought I needed to write a defensive review. I hired the company to repoint my basement and garage and such a wonderful "above and beyond" job was done that I hired the company again to do paver walks and brickwork for an apartment building I own. Samir of Balkans Custom Masonry did what he was contracted to do and much more. I didn't know him before he worked for me. His prices were fair. He is an artist when it comes to masonry and he did so much work for me that I came to know him. He did things that I didn't even pay him for like shoring up my basement beams. He is a good, kind, honest person and a family man. You can trust him around your home and family. I intend to hire him again and will recommend him to anyone. Ignore the one angry reviewer with an agenda who has posted defamatory stuff all over the Internet without considering the damage being done to the owner's business and family. I hope this person reconsiders and removes the reviews. I have no connection with the business. I just am a witness to how this irrational anger is harming a good honest talented worker. I recommend this company for both the character of its owner and the quality of work. I wish I had taken before and after pictures because the work the company did for me was astounding!
